Born to Filipino and Swedish parents, Aria Ohlsson is a 23 year old singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Songwriting became a way for her to translate her emotions of loss when her mother passed away when Aria was 12. Her music is heavily inspired by her own experiences yet is so artfully crafted, fans are able to relate to them in their own ways. Her single, “Love on the Weekend,” has amassed over 10 million streams across Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music because of the relatability of her songwriting. Aria strives to prompt and encourage others to be open with their emotions no matter how bad it may hurt; she is actively creating a space for people to feel seen and be heard.
